In the second part, the problem of dear slaves gets its solution. The “unnaturally” high demand for them was determined by their key institutional role in economy, what allowed them easily outplay free workers. Are revealed the peculiarities of business through slave and the place taken in it by the institute dominica potestas. The author discovers the sources and the framework of individual enterprise which was the first private form of business to absorb limited liability. Commercial partnership as the main way of pooling private capitals is examined in details. Its scope and the limitations hampering the concentration of business in the size necessary for rapid development of industry are demonstrated.
